PEDEREC INC. also provides a social skills group, where children with autism and their counterparts can interact to develop social skills. The focus of the program is to help children with autism and others diagnosed with developmental delays learn to develop communication skills. Group meetings are facilitated by trained clinicians who help the participants acquire skills at developing appropriate social relationships, leisure skills, and emotional regulation skills.
